Frank Sangers

Frank combines a sharp financial mindset with a genuine curiosity for the story behind the numbers. He brings structure, clarity and common sense to the table, without losing sight of the people and culture that drive a business forward.

With more than 30 years in finance, including 15 in hospitality, Frank helps owners, investors, developers and management companies improve profitability, strengthen financial control and grow on a sound footing. His international background in hotel operations, real estate development and investment gives him a wide perspective on what makes hospitality businesses grow.

He began his career in managerial finance roles at technology companies before moving into hospitality with KRC Capital, where he was involved in investments in citizenM, Spaces, CoffeeCompany, real estate, golf and fashion. As Finance Director at citizenM Hotels, he built and led finance teams in the Netherlands and New York during a period of rapid international growth. More recently, he managed pre-opening finance for De Plesman Hotel in The Hague, and he currently advises Nellie Hotels on the launch of their new European hotel venture.

His expertise includes financial modelling and valuations, interim finance management, pre-opening finance, improvement projects and project control for real estate developments. Having lived and worked in Barcelona and New York, Frank is fluent in Dutch and English and speaks Spanish very well.
